This month's member of the month is Dan M! Dan has been training with us for over a year now and has put in a tremendous work ethic to get the results that he has. Throughout your lifetime, how long have you been working out for and what do you enjoy most about fitness?
I've always been involved in working out ever since I was young. I played numerous sports year round as a kid. After high school I played in a mens hockey league, soft ball league and enjoyed running . I enjoy setting an obtainable goal , reaching that goal all while letting a little stress out.
Since training at K.Shan Performance, what have you learned the most about fitness as well as about yourself?
I've learned that if you put your mind to the task at hand that you can accomplish it no matter how hard the task may be . This is possible because of the great support group of trainers and other members .
What do you like most about the workouts? And what is your favorite exercise?
I like that they change daily and that new exercises are continuously worked in. I love the sled as it brings back memories of my youth when I played football but my knees's don't like it as much any more.
What would you recommend to someone looking to start training?
Find a gym that has a great support group and will help you to obtain your goals.
