This month's member of the month is Nichole H. Nichole has been killing it the past couple of months here at KSP. Her initial journey started out here with an investment in herself, now her workouts are more meaningful and for more than just herself! Keep being an inspiration to us all! We are proud of you, Nichole!
Throughout your lifetime, how long have you been working out for and what do you enjoy most about fitness?
I've always enjoyed physical activity (e.g., running, hiking, workout videos), but I have to say that this is the first time I've made such a serious commitment to a gym. That is a credit to you and the staff at KSP. I enjoy the way a good workout makes me feel...accomplished, joyful and balanced.
Since training at K.Shan Performance, what have you learned the most about fitness as well as about yourself?
I have learned more about mobility, which helps me remain safe and I've learned that I am tougher than I thought :-)
What do you like most about the workouts? And what is your favorite exercise?
I always find the workouts challenging in a positive way. Most important, I appreciate and look forward to seeing all of members at the gym. You have built an amazing community and I feel proud to be apart of it. My favorite exercise is traditional push-ups. Although they are modified right now, I look forward to future challenges.
What would you recommend to someone looking to start training?
Be realistic, be committed and care enough about yourself to care for yourself :-)
